Brew Pot Stand
After a couple of AG brews with my boiler perched on top of a rickety table I decided that I needed something better so I made a stand for my brewpot. Also wasn't too keen on the table top catching fire due to its proximity to burner.
Pics of my HLT and kettle can be seen at BrewPot with detail on fittings and sight glasses.
It is a very simple affair as you can see. The burner is a 59MJ high pressure LPG job. The floor of my garage it pretty uneven so I went for 3 legs. The pilot light comes in quite handy when brewing.
A closer look at the business end. Pull out the three pins and it comes apart for easy storage. Also the height is adjustable but I think once I settle on a setting then it will pretty much stay there. The legs fit snuggly inside the ring on the base of the keg.
Despite how it may look, it is quite stable.
This is what the burner looked like out of the box.
And this is the high pressure regulator - essential to getting the maximum out of the burner.
